Cost of Care
Our rates start at $5000 plus levels of care for a private room. With an all-inclusive, tiered pricing model, you can rest assured that your loved one has access to all the care and supervision they need for one, monthly fee.
The following is included in the base rate for all residents:
- Furnished, Private Room
- Utilities
- Administration (compliance, ADL records, in-home communications system, inventory & stocking, HR & staffing)
- Meal Service (3 homecooked meals per day, plus snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages PLUS tray service when sick)
- Weekly wash & Fold laundry service
- Standard household & hygiene products
- Housekeeping
- Emergency alert system
- 24/7 Emergency response
- 24/7 Awake staff
Levels of Care
To keep things as transparent as possible, we assess care needs under four categories:
- Level of Care: the amount of direct, personal care needed
- Medication Management/Wellness: the medication and healthcare regimen needed
- Cognitive/Behavioral: the amount of individualized attention needed to keep this person safe
- Housekeeping: the amount of laundry and cleaning needed to keep linens, clothing, and the environment fresh
Extraordinary Value
For memory care and high-acuity care needs, our average all-inclusive rate is $7500-$8500 per month. Those needing 24/7 in-home care ($30k+ per month) usually fall within this range. Those requiring 1-to-1 care at a large facility ($40k+ per month) might be closer to $10k.
Paying for Care
- Private Pay: Income, savings, and assets are used to pay for care, sometimes with assistance from family members.
- Long Term Care Insurance: We work with several long term care insurance companies and are diligent about submitting relevant paperwork in a timely fashion to get you reimbursed as quickly as possible. We are also good about doing whatever it takes to get approved by new long term care insurances.
- Medi-Cal: Qualifying medi-cal recipients can get the bulk of care costs covered.
